      • After a busy day of sightseeing, you might want to relax a bit in the evening. Don't worry! Here, quite a number of leisure and entertainment venues are waiting for you. Despite being an inland city, Xining will satisfy you with its rich nightlife ranging from cinemas and cafes to clubs and pubs.

      One of the most luxurious recreation venues in Xining is in the Qinghai Hotel. The Health Center of the Qinghai Hotel includes a gymnasium, a sauna, a beauty salon, and a rooftop viewing area, all of which will lessen your fatigue. If on the other hand, you still feel energetic and are looking for a more colorful nightlife in Xining, we recommend the Guotai Club (Wenhua Road; No.1 bus) which is equipped with Disco and KTV. Another place is the Furonghua International Recreation Center (No.58, Shengli Lu). It opened in 2005, and is decorated in classical European style with performing hall, KTV, and MIX slow-dancing bar.

      If you are a movie fan and you do not want to miss the latest films on your trip, the cinemas in Xining will certainly satisfy your interests. The Qinghai Theater (No.19, Wusi Dajie; buses of 31), the Renmin Showplace (No.19, Xi Dajie), and the Xining Cinema (nearby the Drygoods Department Store; buses of 34 and 35) are some good choices.

      Additionally, the cafes along the side streets and lanes in Xining contain some worthwhile places for you to experience the charming everyday side of Xining. Sipping a cup of coffee and looking through the window, you will be immersed in this delightful northwest China city. Region Coffee, located in No.53-1, Changjiang Lu, is a popular chain of coffee shops. Others such as Lanshan Coffee House, Mingshi Coffee Language and U.B.C.
