13-Day Chengdu Xi'an Guilin Shanghai Tour

Destinations:Chengdu → Xi'an → Guilin → Shanghai
Day 1  Chengdu Arrival
Arrival in Chengdu by KL 891 at 12:30Pm.Arrival in Chengdu by KL891 from Amsterdam,be met by the tour guide from CTE and then transfer to the hotel, free for the rest of the day.

Day 2  Chengdu-panda base-Dujiangyan-Chengdu
Drive to the Research Center of Giant Panda Breeding in the morning about 8 Kms north to Chengdu downtown where you can have a vist of the pandas born by artificial insemmination, then go to the site of Dujiangyan irrigation systemin the afternoon to study this project wonder. Transfer back to Chengdu after the sightseeing there.

Day 3  Chengdu-Leshan-Mt.emei
Today, we will see another world cultural and natural heritage Leshan Grand Buddha and Mt.Emei. Leshan grand buddha is the world largest buddha statue with a history of 1200 years. It is a 2-hour ride to Leshan. After the sightseeing in Leshan we will go to Mt.emei for overnight.

Day 4  MT.emei-Chengdu
Visit Mt.emei today. It is one of the four holy buddhist mountains in China boasting for not only its buddhist culture but also the natural scenery and geological diversity.Take the sightseeing bus to Wannian monastery parking lot where the cable car to the splendid monstery is available .Walk down the hill through Qingyin pavilion, the Monkey inhabitance area until you get to Wuxiangang bus station, take the bus down to the foot of the mountain  and transfer back to Chengdu.

Day 5  Chengdu-Xi'an
Transfer to Chengdu airport  and catch the flight to Xi'an in the morning. Meet the tour guide from CTE at Xi'an Xianyang airport, then ancient city wall built in the Ming dynasty in the afternoon.

Day 6  Xi'an sightseeing
Drive to the Terra Cotta Warriors in the morning.It was a large warrior and horse format built in China's Qin dynasty of 2000 years ago. Each of the terra cotta depicts a horse or a soldier vividly.In the afternoon, we will visit the Wild Goose Pagoda  and Shaanxi provincial musem together with the ancient city wall to be impressed by this historic city.

Day 7  Xi'an-Guilin
Transfer to the airport and catch the flight to Guilin, meet our guide at Guilin airport.Then transfer to the city proper to visit the Elephant Trunk hill, the Reed Flute cave in the afternoon.

Day 8  Guilin-Yangsuo Li river cruise
Take the Li river cruise and appreciate the picturesque scenery along the  sides of the river. Visit the foreigners' street in Yangsuo when you arrive there.

Day 9  Yangsuo-Longsheng
Drive from Yangsuo to Longsheng, visit a Yao minority village on the way,  overnight in Longsheng..

Day 10  Longsheng-Guilin-Shanghai
see the sunrise at Longsheng Dragon-back-bone terraced fields.If we are lucky enough, we will have a chance to see the oily painting landsacpe at the terraced filelds. Then drive to Guilin, catch the flight to Shanghai. Meet the  tour guide from CTE and  transfer to the hotel, free for the rest of the day.

Day 11  Shanghai-Suzhou
Drive to Suzhou in the morning to visit the gardens there. Suzhou gardens are fomous throughout the world for its natural imitation, exiquisite structure and  delicate layout.

Day 12  Suzhou-Shanghai
Return to Shanghai for the visit of Yuyuan garden, the Jade Buddha temple  and the old area of this metropolis, free visit to Nanjing road,the best shopping place of Shanghai.

Day 13 Shanghai Departure 
Transfer to shanghai airport after breakfast, then catch the flight KL894(10:10) or KL896(12:50) back to Amsterdam.
