Day 1 Xining-Lhasa
The representative from CTE will come to meet you at the hotel and then transfer you to the train station,take the train N917 at 20:07Pm starting your Qinghai-Tibet train journey.

Day 2 Lhasa sightseeing
Appreciate the scenery along the Qinghai-tibet railway, the highest railway in the world.The series of snow-capped mountains, the endless highland grassland, the nature reserve and the originating place of several rivers etc. Arrive in Lhasa at about 10:00Pm.Meet the tour guide from CTE then go to the hotel.

Day 3 Lhasa sightseeing
Visit the main tourist attractions in Lhasa:Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street.

Day 4 Lhasa-Shigatse
Drive from Lhasa to Shigatse (about 350km). On the way visit Yamdrok Lake which is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet, Nojin Kangtsang Glacier near Karola Pass of Gangbala mountain. Arrive at Shigatse via Gyangtze.

Day 5 Shigatse-Dhingri
Visit Tashilunpo monastery in the morning, then drirve to Dhingri in the afternoon, appreciate the series of snow-capped peaks along the road.

Day 6 Dhingri-Rhongbuk Monastery(EBC)
If the weather is clear enough we can see the peak of Mt.Everest from farway. Drive to Rhongbuk monastery, then sightseeing around this monastery.

Day 7 Rhongbuk -Shigatse
Trekking about 8 Kms(or take the yak carriage) to Visit the EBC and see the sunrise if the weather is clear enough, then drive back to Shigatse.

Day 8 Shigatse-Lhasa
Continue driving back to Lhasa.
