1.Guesthouses
There are two guesthouses here in downtown, one is beside the Anjue monastery called Black Tent, and the other is Kangding backpack guesthouse with his boss Mr.Zhu Hongyu. He is a qualified leader trekking to Mogetso Lake.
2.Better Accommodations 
Qingge Grand Hotel
This is a four-star standard and quite a new one.
Jiaotong hotel
Located beside the Lucheng River and quite close to bus station, it is one of the best hotel in Dartsendo (Kangding). Telephone, TV and air conditioners are available. Its public bathroom is clean enough. Since many local conferences are held here, it is quite a busy hotel. It’s better to book in advance during busy seasons.
Garze Hotel (Kanding Hotel) is another better hotel here.
Taining Hotel is located opposite to the bus station, quite convenient. As the boss comes from Bamei, it is easier to find a private car through him.
3. Kangding Horse Racing Festival Kangding`s biggest annual festival is on the 8th day of the 4th month of the Chinese calendar, and features activities on Paoma Hill(Horse Racing hill), plus ten days of street fair that fills up the whole town.
4.The most famous Loving song 
There is a most famous loving song throughout China with the name "Loing Song of Kangindg",most people in China know Kangding city after this song.
This song describes the romantic love between a Tibetan girl and Tibetan boy. With the fetching melody, it is sung almost by everybosy in China. Don‘t forget to ask your guide in Sichuan to sing this song for you.
5.What to eat  
Since it’s a hub of Sichuan and Tibet, here you can have both Sichuan cuisine and Tibetan food like Zanba, butter tea and smoked beef, mutton and yak meat. For snack food, pea noodle is famous, and local barbecue is strongly recommended. A tiny restaurant called Xiaolan Liangfen is nice.
