Cross throughout Ganzi and Aba municipalities and Zhongdian, overnight from a lower elevation to high to make the tourists adapting the plateau, and see everything of the plateau scenery. It's a general tour group, but with some features of adventure tour group, we will cross more than 8 major snow mountains 4000m+, you know cross over the snow mountains is not a nightmare, oppositely, you will see the spectacular scenery when you reach the summit. (No repeated route and sightseeing)

Tips 1.Visa: All clients must be in possession of a valid passport and necessary visas or permits at the commencement of travel. All such documentation is the sole responsibility of the client. Your travel advisor may assist you in applying for the necessary travel documentation upon request. Travel Every accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the failure of clients to obtain appropriate documentation. 2.Travel Health: Clients should take into account all international travel risks and familiarize themselves with health requirements applicable to the areas they intend to visit. The client is solely responsible for checking the safety and security conditions, vaccination, and other health requirements of governments in countries visited or transited. Travelers to Tibet are required to provide a doctor's certificate stating that the he/she is fit to travel and his/her blood pressure and heart condition are normal. This is a necessary requirement because of the possible effects that the very high altitude may have on certain people. 3. Baggage Allowance: In accordance with regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, the free baggage allowance within China is 20kg for the economy class, 30kg for the business class, and 40kg for the first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of the client. Regulations within China specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft. 4. China Travel Insurance: Travel Every tour packages include China Life Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance up to a maximum of $29,000 provided free of charge as part of our package. We still highly recommend that you purchase full coverage travel insurance from your country of origin. Insurance provided by Travel Every is not applicable where only hotel or China flight booking are purchased through New Travel 5. Complaints: Shall you feel unsatisfied with any service Travel Every has provided, please notify your local tour guide or your travel advisor to avoid the potential similar problems happening again in the rest of your trip. In the event of a complaint or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email, regular mail, or facsimile in writing within 15 days from the end of your tour. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. Travel Every will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after the completion of your tour. 6. Tour Booking: You can contact Travelevery via the web form from Travelevery email, fax, or phone. If for any reason, you fail to receive any reply from Travelevery in regard of your tour status within 48 hours from the time you submitted the request for booking, modifying, or canceling a tour, please contact New Travel customer service center phone at 86-28-66507781 immediately to ensure that we are able to deal with your enquiry under the terms of our Terms and Conditions. 7. Cancellation Refunds We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip to China, however we realize that there are many valid reasons that this can happen. In the event of cancellation we will refund any payment made to Travelevery (less any cancellation fee that is applicable) within 14 days of our receipt of your written cancellation request. The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows: A. Cancellation received more than 35 days before departure: 10 % of tour price, but may be applied for your next trip within 18 months. B. Cancellation received from 21 to 35 days before departure: 10% of the tour price + full cost of Yangtze River Cruise if applicable. C. Cancellation received from 7 to 20 days before departure: 20% of the tour price + full cost of Yangtze River Cruise if applicable. D. Cancellation received from 3 to 6 days before departure: 50% of the tour price + full cost of Yangtze River Cruise if applicable. E. Cancellation received from 2 to 0 days before departure: 100% of the tour price + full cost of Yangtze River Cruise if applicable. No-show travelers will be charged 100% of the tour price full cost of Yangtze River Cruise if applicable. After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours. Special Notes For Yangtze River Cruise: The payment for the Yangtze River Cruise can not be refunded if the cancellation notice is received less than 35 days prior to the date of the cruise. 8. God’s act : Travelevery shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property, alteration of itineraries or cancellation in part or in full, caused by climatic conditions, sea fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars whether or not declared, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, terrorist activities, or any other actions, omissions or conditions beyond Travelevery 's control. Neither Travelevery nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned causes. TravelEvery shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent or fraudulent, omissions, changes of itinerary, cancellation or the failure of any equipment operated by any suppliers such as transportation carriers, cruise, and hotels, or any other party not directly owned or controlled by Travelevery. 1.The temperature varies greatly and sunshine can be very strong, please bring jackets, sunburn cream, medicine for altitude sickness etc. 2.As we travel in Tibet area where the economy much more backward than other place, the diversity food is limited,so we suggest you order food by yourself or take some solid food.Most of local restaurant only can offer the simple Sichuan and Tibetan Dish. 3.The price is just for 1 bed in a standard room, if you want to occupy a whole room you should pay the single supplement for the other bed. 4. It's likely that you'll suffer from a headache and shortness of breath upon your arrival in alpine area -- they are both common signs of altitude sickness. Other visitors have complained of sleeplessness, fatigue, and even vomiting. So take it easy, and let yourself get acclimated to the altitude your first days , certainly before you venture to any higher altitudes. Altitude sickness pills called Diamox (acetazolamide) can also help; they can be taken a few hours before your arrival Most visitors get through the trip with just a few minor symptoms, and cases of altitude sickness typically go away after a couple of days. There are a few danger signs, however, such as a deep liquidlike cough accompanied by a fever, that you should watch out for that may indicate your case is more serious. 5.We suggest you don`t go outside of your hotel during the night. 6.Most of the time you will enjoy the beautiful views in the car, and the driving hours are very long in this tour. 7.Tourists should take the high plateau altitude into consideration, if unexpected accident(injury, death etc.) happen, the Insurance Company will compensate according to the regulations not our company. 8.Aba and Ganzi prefecture is short of water, some hotels can not provide enough hot water for bathing but you won`t have problems in cleaning your face. 9.10.Prices and Itinerary are valid 2008, but may vary according to your travel time and tour availability (e.g.: China special events time such as F1, Canton fair; Chinese holiday periods: April 30th - May 7th, Sep 30th to Oct 7th, and Chinese New Year period which usually falls in January and Olympiad games.) 10.Minor program changes sometimes are necessary, depending on road conditions, weather and availability of room. 11.Health consultation from your doctor before you come to highland(Over than 3000M)....... Almost of the road is in use, (Mt. Erlang - Kangding and Luding, Daocheng - Yading, Xiangcheng - Zhongdian road is under construction, therefore the traffic is moderated), however the mud-rock flow, traffic jam, road broken often happens for the tedious mountain area drive. Tourists should understand that and comply with our tour guide, moreover, be careful for the hypoxia of plateau |
Day 1 Chengdu-Dujiangyan Irrigation System-Mt. Balang-Danba
Depart Chengdu in the morning, drive to Mt. Siguniang, pass Dujiangyan Irrigation System, Wolong Nature Reserve, cross over Mt. Balang (4600m) and Rilong town, then drive to Xiaojin and Danba County. The duration cost 7-8 hours, 300km tarred road. Overnight in Danba urban

Day 2 Danba-Bamei-Tagong-Xindu Bridge-Yajiang
After breakfast, depart Danba, enter the Donggu (Eastern Valley) scenic spot, drive to Baimei & Tagong grassland, and visit Xindu Bridge, cross over the Mt. Gaoershi (4000m), overnight in Yajiang hotel for Deluxe standard (air-conditioned and with independent water closet).

Day 3 Yajiang-Litang-Daocheng (3700m)
Drive to Daocheng after breakfast, cross the Mt. Jianziwan, Mt. Kaizila and Litang, Daocheng grassland, see the famous Mt. Haizi. In this route, we see the spectacular Sichuan-Tibet Highway, snow mountain, plateau glacier and grassland. There is approximately 6-7 hours drive for the Yajiang to Daocheng 300km road, besides the 40km gravel road of Litang - Daocheng, the rest is all tarred.

Day 4 Daocheng-Riwa (Shangrila) village-Yading Nature Reserve
After breakfast, drive to Yading Nature Reserve, by the road of Daocheng - Riwa (Shangrila) village, although 80km gravel road, however the roadbed is perfect, it drives approximately 1.5 hours. Arrive the portal of Yading Nature Reserve, horse-riding to Chonggu Temple, see the scenery of Chonggu Temple and holy peak Xiannairi, and continued ride to Luorong Pasture, see the another holy peak Yangmaiyong, Xiannairi and Luorong Pasture (the round horse-riding cost exclude, approximately RMB130/p.p), overnight in Yading (Tips: there are only several wooden houses outside of valley, service facilities are not nice, it is not worth that ride 4 hours back for better accommodation, instead of overnight in Chonggu Temple or camp in the scenery spot.), moreover please note, the meal and accommodation are not nice today. In the Nature Reserve, the meals are solved by "solid food" or cooked out side and bring into by the tour guide. (these stuff can be prepared easier in Chengdu and Daocheng)

Day 5 Yading Nature Reserve-Daocheng
After breakfast, visit the Yading Nature Reserve, then horse riding back, drive to Daocheng, overnight in Daocheng.

Day 6 Daocheng-Zhongdian
After breakfast, drive 320km to Zhongdian by gravel road, en route see the Shangri-La valley. Arrive Zhongdian (which renamed to Shangri-La town) in the afternoon, overnight in Zhongdian.

Day 7 Zhongdian-Lijiang
Drive from Zhongdian to Lijiang, end the trip in Lijiang.
