Travel Every accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the failure of clients to obtain appropriate documentation. 2.Travel Health: Clients should take into account all international travel risks and familiarize themselves with health requirements applicable to the areas they intend to visit. The client is solely responsible for checking the safety and security conditions, vaccination, and other health requirements of governments in countries visited or transited. Travelers to Tibet are required to provide a doctor's certificate stating that the he/she is fit to travel and his/her blood pressure and heart condition are normal. This is a necessary requirement because of the possible effects that the very high altitude may have on certain people. 3. Baggage Allowance: In accordance with regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, the free baggage allowance within China is 20kg for the economy class, 30kg for the business class, and 40kg for the first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of the client. Regulations within China specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft. 4. China Travel Insurance: Travel Every tour packages include China Life Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance up to a maximum of $29,000 provided free of charge as part of our package. We still highly recommend that you purchase full coverage travel insurance from your country of origin. Insurance provided by Travel Every is not applicable where only hotel or China flight booking are purchased through New Travel 5. Complaints: Shall you feel unsatisfied with any service Travel Every has provided, please notify your local tour guide or your travel advisor to avoid the potential similar problems happening again in the rest of your trip. In the event of a complaint or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email, regular mail, or facsimile in writing within 15 days from the end of your tour. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. Travel Every will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after the completion of your tour. 6. Tour Booking: You can contact Travelevery via the web form from Travelevery email, fax, or phone. If for any reason, you fail to receive any reply from Travelevery in regard of your tour status within 48 hours from the time you submitted the request for booking, modifying, or canceling a tour, please contact New Travel customer service center phone at 86-28-66507781 immediately to ensure that we are able to deal with your enquiry under the terms of our Terms and Conditions. 7. Cancellation Refunds We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip to China, however we realize that there are many valid reasons that this can happen. In the event of cancellation we will refund any payment made to Travelevery (less any cancellation fee that is applicable) within 14 days of our receipt of your written cancellation request. The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows: A. Cancellation received more than 35 days before departure: 10 % of tour price, but may be applied for your next trip within 18 months. B. Cancellation received from 21 to 35 days before departure: 10% of the tour price + full cost of Yangtze River Cruise if applicable. C. Cancellation received from 7 to 20 days before departure: 20% of the tour price + full cost of Yangtze River Cruise if applicable. D. Cancellation received from 3 to 6 days before departure: 50% of the tour price + full cost of Yangtze River Cruise if applicable. E. Cancellation received from 2 to 0 days before departure: 100% of the tour price + full cost of Yangtze River Cruise if applicable. No-show travelers will be charged 100% of the tour price full cost of Yangtze River Cruise if applicable. After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours. Special Notes For Yangtze River Cruise: The payment for the Yangtze River Cruise can not be refunded if the cancellation notice is received less than 35 days prior to the date of the cruise. 8. God’s act : Travelevery shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property, alteration of itineraries or cancellation in part or in full, caused by climatic conditions, sea fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars whether or not declared, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, terrorist activities, or any other actions, omissions or conditions beyond Travelevery 's control. Neither Travelevery nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned causes. TravelEvery shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent or fraudulent, omissions, changes of itinerary, cancellation or the failure of any equipment operated by any suppliers such as transportation carriers, cruise, and hotels, or any other party not directly owned or controlled by Travelevery. |
Day 1 arrival in Kunming
Upon your arrival at Kunming, " the Spring and Flower City", our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

Day 2 Kunming-Stone Forest-Kunming
Today, you will enjoy a full day trip to the Stone Forest, which is about 90km to the south of Kunming.
* Stone Forest (Shilin): a 270-million-year-old limestone karst formation of tightly bundled gray rocky outcrops, a natural wonder acknowledged as "WorldKarstLandscapeMuseum", the StoneForest shows a variety of unique shapes such as sword, mushrooms, tower, pillar, castle representing the greatest miracle that the nature can present to human beings.

Day 3 Kunming-Lijiang-Qiaotou
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lijiang. Upon your arrival at Lijiang County,"an UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site", after our local guide and the driver meet you, head for Qiaotou at 2070m altitude which is 83km away from Lijiang, along the way, have a trip to see the First Bend of the Yangtze River and Iron Chain Bridge in the Shigu (Stone Drum) Town. Overnight at Qiaotou.
* Lijiang County: located in the northwest of YunnanProvince, 544 km away from Kunming, perched at bottom of the Himalayas and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, it is one of the National Scenic Areas and famed for its Ancient Town of Dayan, the JadeDragonSnowMountain, rich culture of different ethnic minorities and so many more.
Shigu (Stone Drum) Town: standing on a green hill, overlooking the First Bend of the Yangtze River with terraced rice fields on the mountains, the town has witnessed many historical events as it has been a natural ferry and a fortress to be seized by the strategists since ancient times. Its sites of interests include Iron Chain Bridge and Opera Platform built in Qing Dynasty, Stone Drum Pavilion and so on.
* First Bend of the Yangtze River: formed by the Yangtze River rushing down from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau with a sharp turn of 45 degrees at Shigu (Stone Drum) Town before the river continues running on to northeast.

Day 4 Qiaotou-Half Way
Drive 9km to the Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge in the morning first to visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge which is descending through more than 400 steps down to the river bed to the gorge, where you can see the very rock in the legend and hear the roaring sound of the river. Then continue hiking for another 5 to 6 hours from Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge, pass 28 bends till you get to Half Way Guesthouse by walking on the small path (the high trail) with peaks of two Snow Mountains: Jade Dragon Mountain (5596m) and Mt.Haba (5396m) on either side, you will experience the gorge's grandness and steepness, the hospitality of minority and enjoy the stunning scenery along the way today. Overnight at Half Way Guesthouse.
Tiger Leaping Gorge: extending for 15 kilometres from the YulongSnowMountain in Lijiang to the HabaSnowMountain in Zhongdian, the Tiger Leap Gorge with a drop of 3,000 metres is believed to be the world's deepest canyon. The name of the gorge is attributed to the legend that a tiger had once jumped across the gorge at its narrowest section 30 metres in width. The gorge, in which the JinshaRiver pounds furiously at its rocky shores in an awesome fashion, sending up skyfuls of white froth, is a dream place for adventurers.

Day 5 Halfway-Hetaoyuan
Try to get up early in the morning to breathe the fresh air of the gorge. Continue hiking for about 5 hours on small path (high trail) from Half Way Guesthouse, pass Tina's House, Teacher Zhang's House to the Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge, and then trough the Heaven's Stairs till you get to the Hetaoyuan (Walnut Grove). Stay at No. 1 Woody's house (Guesthouse) at 2175m altitude that has a platform, from which you can enjoy a spectacular view of the river and the gorge.(If you think you are energetic enough, you can choose to take another path called "Heaven of One Thread" from the Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge to the Hetaoyuan (Walnut Grove), which will take you one more hour than the previous route.)

Day 6 Hetaoyuan-Daju-Lijiang
Today's hike is from Hetaoyuan (Walnut Grove) to Daju for 14 km which will take you about 6 hours. Walk along the Yangtze River on the main road first and then on the small trail down to the bank of the river, where you will take a very simple ferry to get across the Yangtze River (about 20 minutes on the little boat) to the side of Daju, continue hiking up on the small trail to the parking lot where the driver and the coach will meet you and help you transfer back to Lijiang, 87km away from Daju, along the way, you will view the white water river and the other side of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
Daju: a small village with abundant agricultural plants, it is famed as "the barn" in Lijiang area.
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain:it is so called because it looks like a flying jade dragon from afar. The mountain consists of 13 peaks and sprawls 35 km from north to south, its glacier is the modern oceanic glacier closest to the equator in the Northern Hemisphere.

Day 7 Lijiang sightseeing
In the morning, you will have an excursion to Lion Hill inside the Ancient Town, and the Black Dragon Pool Park and Museum of Naxi Dongba Culture inside the park. Enjoy a free afternoon wandering around the Ancient Town all by yourself.
* Lijiang Ancient Town: also called DayanTown, built in the late song dynasty and the early Yuan dynasty with a history of more than 800 years, this ancient town consists of clean streams flowing freely through the raod network, the colorful cobbled streets, age-old swaying willow trees, age-old buildings and stone bridges. There are over 22 different ethnic minorities making Lijiang their home, now and then you may see local folks in their own tradtional dress. Strolling around this charming ancient town, you will be attracted by the unique atmosphere and surprised by its ancient yet simple sense of "Harmony of Heaven and Man."
Lion Hill: the name is derived from its resemblance of a lion playing a ball, the mountain is best known for its vast and green pines and cypresses planted mostly in Ming Dynasty with over 500 years old, from the Tower of Eternity (Wangoulou) on the top of the mountain, you can enjoy a bird's eye view of the ancient town and the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain far away.
* Black Dragon Pool Park: where you can see the JadeDragonSnowMountain from afar and the reflection of the mountain in the pool in a clear day, this park is the source of the water system of the OldLijiangTown as the clean spring from JadeDragonSnowMountain gathers here.
* Museum of Naxi Dongba Culture: where you will see the exhibitions of Naxi culture and dress, Dongba script, information on Lijiang's old town and so on.
