9-Day Northern Ganzi adventure tour

Destinations:Chengdu → Ganzi → dege → Baiyu → Xinlong → Litang → yajiang → kangding → Chengdu
Day 1  Chengdu-Kangding-Xinduqiao
Drive from Chengdu to Xinduqiao via Yaan,Kangding. Visit the Horse-tea statue in Yaan on the way and learn about the story of ancient Tea-horse road. Kangding, the Love Song city in china.Then drive across Zheduo mountain where at the top you can overlook the scenery of snow peaks and glacier.Arrrive at Xinduqiao town, the paradise of photographers featuring its natural scenery of mountains, grassland, colorful leaves on the tree and blue sky.

Day 2  Xinduqiao-Daofu-Luhuo
Drive to Ganzi county passing Bamei and Tagong grassland. Visit the stone forest at Baime which is a good example of the geographic movement,. the stone forest is maily composed by calcified stone. It appears different colors with the season change and wind erosion.

The local residential house in Daofu is another attraction to visitors.The tibetans build their hourses usually in 3 stories for both the daily life use and religion purpose. The unique construction style is rarely seen in other places in China.

Overnight in Luhuo county when arrive there.

Day 3  Luhuo-Ganzi-Dege
Drive to Dege county via Ganzi county. visit the Xinlu lake and the scenery of Quer Mountain on the way. Manigange is an important town which is locted almost at the pass of Quer mountain. It is a typical tibetan town with all the tibetan houses and markets.

Day 4  Dege Sightseeing
A whole day sightseeing in Dege, the most famous county in Khampa area. The sutra printing house, tibetan hospital, Axu grassland-the birthplace of Tibetan hero Gesar, the tibetan monasteries etc.asdfasf

Day 5  Dege-Baiyu
Drive to Baiyu county,.Baiyu, in Tibetan language, means the auspicious place. The small  couty is hugged by the peaks around like a piece of jade on the high plateau.  Visit Baiyu A-dzom monastery and Gatuo monastery in Baidyu.

Day 6  Baiyu-Xinlong
Drive from Baiyu to Xinlong, Xinlong in Tibetan language, means ' the river valley shaded in the forest'. Visit the river scenery of Yalong river, Larima prairie and Yixi monastery.

Day 7  Xinlong-Litang
Drive to Litang.Litang  is known as the world high city with an average altitude of more than 4000 meters.Visit the monastery located on a mountain slope on a mountain.Then overnight in Litang the highest town in China.

Day 8  Litang-kangding

Drive to Kangding passing through several mountain passes,appreciate the scenery along the way.Arrive in Kangding and overnight there.

Day 9  Kangding-Chengdu
Drive back to Chengdu passing Ya'an,  tour ends in Chengdu.
