Beijing Capital International Airport said on Thursday that it has cancelled all direct flights from Beijing to Bangkok due to the riot in Thai Capital on Tuesday, November 25th.
The Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport was forced to be closed after the violent protesters blockaded the airport Tuesday evening.
The flights running between Beijing and Thailand were affected. Due to the riot, Air China cancelled the flight CA980 which was planed to depart from Beijing at 20:20 on Tuesday. The flight CA980 running on Wednesday was cancelled. The Thursday’s flights CA959, CA979 and TG615 were also suspended or cancelled.
The Capital International Airport says the Beijing-Bangkok flights schedules are likely to change at any moment and suggests passengers to keep close in touch with airways.
