The 5.12 Wenchuan earthquake damaged a lot of natural landscape in Sichuan.Meanwhile, it also created something new. A huge portrait of people was discovered by a panda reseaching team in Qinchuan county, Sichuan province.

In the end of June, the researchers from Qingchuan Forest Administrative Bureau and other units entered Dongyanggou Valley Nature Reserve in Qinchuan county to investigate the living conditions of the giant pandas in this area after the strong earthquake. In the morning of Jun.28, Shen Ruofei, a member of the researching team, was shocked by a huge portrait of people on the cliff which was came into being after the collapse of the moutain. The portrait looks after a human being's appearance which has eye brows, eyes, nose,mouth. Its forehead locked and looked suffered a lot from the life.

Shen estimated that the huge protrait is about 10m high and 7m wide. All at a sudden shock, he wondered who made this on the cliff about 200m high. After the analysis and visiting of the local people, Shen and his teammates found the author 'the Wenchuan 5.12 earthquake'. The rocks collapsed from the mountain slope and accidently, the huge portrait appears on the cliff.
